INTERLUDE: TEXAS, BALTIMORE, DETROIT

Ow.

Deep hurting describes these days of my life. A 3 and 6 road trip,
in which the M’s only led in one game over the two weeks.

Rich Aurilia best describes the trip thusly:

“What we needed today was a rain delay. We got one. We just aren’t playing that well lately. We’re sucking”

Not a lot to cheer for for the hometown 9. but my head is high. I know how these seasons can turn around, and I still have hope that we can win the West.

As Jimmy Dugan once said, “It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t, everyone would do it.”

One thing of note, Eric Strand and I watched the April 29th game on television together, and I called the Ibanez home run to left field. Go figure.

April Records: Eh. Too tired to tally them up right now, but watch this space for more info. History shows that taking Rick to the game is good, and when Steve and Ryan don’t come, we win. Otherwise. Seattle lost a lot in April, no matter what we tried.

And…Break

Finally, the broadband connection is back up. Hopefully, I won’t have to move it yet again, as it seems may be looming on the horizon.

Dialup is sufficient for basic needs, but it is not the preferred method at all for what I want to accomplish. Or, what I thought I wanted, as my home-based job appears to be smoke and mirrors. Crap.
