Oh my goodness gracious, was the Sopranos good last night. But even better (if possible) was the episode of South Park. Given my views on Hollywood and television in general, it is amazing how much I like these two shows. But they are on late at night, clearly intended for adult viewing, and you have to pay someone to watch them.
So really, there’s not that much room to bitch about the content.
I will say that I have never enjoyed a “phenomenon” as much as I have the last 8 years of South Park. I’ve never laughed harder, been more emotionally affected, or as shocked while viewing a cartoon. I’ll have more to say on the subject of South Park as the summer goes on, but this season is the most shocking and offensive yet.
I love it.
