So, my change in work schedule (i.e. negative to positive) has necessitated a change in sleep schedules (i.e, waking up). A side effect is that I have not been reading the same volume of books.
I can put in 1-2 hours a day while on the bus, but reading at night cuts seriously into my ability to resist the snooze button.
Currently (link updated soon, I promise), I’m attempting my third assault on God-Emperor of Dune. This book is a lot more readable since I worked on and in the Dune universe, and moreso so because of my increased maturity.
Looks like getting old helps when reading about a character who is really, really old. Who knew? I am enjoying the book, and may even be able to move onwards in the series now.
