Home again, home again

I woke up yesterday with the ick riding high in my lungs. so I called in around 9, made arrangements to come in at noon, and swung by the doctor’s before coming in.

And now, I’ll be leaving.

Not the longest day I’ve ever spent in this industry, but amongst a short handful. It’s amazing the sort of things you can get done late at night, when no-one’s around to distract you with ….stuff.

For starters, you get to re-accquaint yourself with one of the great benefits of adult living.

Single-serve bottles of wine.

Two meals in today, but I’m feeling pretty good. I’ll be glad to get back home and pass out, and the weekend’s meals are nice and easy.

All for now. going off into internet free-bhagwania, whilst the landlords are out of sight/town/the country. I may or may not hop on again later from an internet cafe.

news, of a sort

The home internet is down, so I’ve not been posting regularly here. However, I have more than a little hankering’ to be creative, and I may well get some more web projects up and running, including my annual redesign of the site.

Again.

Regular readers over on the LJ account have noticed that I’ve been  posting about this wonderful feeling I’ve got inside of me. I can’t describe it all that well, but it makes me feel new and younger than before. I have a few ideas as to the cause, and it is good.

But I digress.  This year, I’ll try to get even crazier with the design, and sync the two sites up entirely. I may even go all out, and try to work in things like a dedicated RSS feed , an active wiki, and maybe even some short fiction.  I have a strange aversion to writing for free that which I could otherwise get paid for, so not a lot of that will make it up here.

But a bit will slip throguh the cracks now and then.
