RantsLonghand, part four
Didn’t even think I’d written a lot of words, until I noticed how many were covering the pages. They were all done and on the page by 3 PM, just didn’t get them recorded until very late. Plenty of typing tomorrow morning, I think.
So, I’ve been having a problem with Action scenes. I really don’t like them, although I’ve written four “okay” ones, one of which could be considered “good” by someone who is not me. I feel somewhat inadequate, since I’ve not done many (or any, in some cases) of the things I’m describing. Of course, I’ve never warped time, clouded the minds of men, or wielded a magic sword either, but those seem to be comping along fine.
Just don’t care much for the action. Reading a couple action books now, and watching a few action movies. perhaps it will come together sometime in the next few days.
