Take my slot, take my fans,
Preempt me with shows I cannot stand.
I don’t care, I’m still free,
Until FOX goes and cancels me.

Fade my camera out to black,
Tell them I ain’t comin’ back,
Burn the set and fire me,
We’ll just make a movie.

Maybe even direct-to-DVD,
Since we filmed Serenity,
But FOX still went and cancelled me.
