Victory?

Back to bed, read another 80 pages of Saberhagen, and then fell into blessed sleep.

Four hours later, I’m up, showered, and eating oatmeal.

With a novel outline for the short story plot I came up with yesterday. Damnit.

Writing the hook down in the brown notebook, and then it’s back to B.2. The new pacing should work fine, and we’re gonna leave the outline alone for as long as possible today.

Wish me luck.

Still feel like crap, still can’t sleep, and still have an extra ticket or two to tomorrow night’s Mariners game. Also, still interested in taking in Wednesday’s afternoon game.

Midway

Not a tiny atoll instrumental in the fight against the Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere, but instead I’ve hit the middle of Book one’s rewrite/enhancement. Another 6K words yesterday, bringing the manuscript to just shy of 80K.

Plenty of baseball left, as I am wont to say. Have just killed a bunch of people, and made a bad guy more “bad.”

Not bad for two days.
