Push, push

A slightly longer than intended bout of writing last night took me deep into C 19, the largest and most involved section of the book. It pleases me that it has become so, since it falls into roughly the same spot story-wise as does a similar chapter in book 2.

Taking another pass at it today, but the manuscript now sits at 95K. There is perhaps another thousand or so words waiting in that chapter, and the revised outline (also finished yesterday) now has 26 chapters.

should get most of the way to 100K and completeness today. The “submission” is ready to go, and should be moving off to potential buyers next week. Come hell or high water, first readers will have it on Monday, and I intend a celebration of sorts this coming weekend.

yay me.

Day 11 is upon me, and a Delicious Egg Omelette awaits. Then It’s back to the 13th century, for another look at the place of no place.

Perhaps sometime today I will be able to breathe. Wouldn’t that be nice?

(UPDATE) If one wants to make a delicious Egg Omelette, one should be sure to have eggs on hand first.

Oops.

I needed fruit anyway. Time for a trip to the store

welp

Packed, printed, and ready to go.

Things always look different on paper, you know. Especially when you are massively overcharged for the wrong paper.

The missed errors always rise right up to the fore. Go figure.

P.S. it is HOT today. made more so by my last bit of cleaning, but HOT nonetheless.

I love summer.

I have music, documents, and pdfs loaded up on my phone and various removable media. I believe I am ready for the show.

Also, very much ready for my next meal. Going to cook two at once, and eat the next on the plane many hours from now. Day 10 is going well so far, and tomorrow’s day 11 should be very interesting indeed.

I may or may not be posting from the road. If I do, it will be from someone else’s machine.

If I don’t , I’ll see you when I get back. Unless, of course, you are among the many people I will bee seing in just a few hours.

out.
